The Australian Army Reserves
Thomas remains active within the Australian Army Reserve, Part-Time since swearing-in, in 2010.
He participates in the training, education and support for other Army Reserve members undertaking training as well as his own.
Thomas has been a soldier in 41 R.N.S.W.R C Coy, S.U.R BUNA PL, and, 25/49 R.Q.R C Coy.
Australian Surf Lifesaving
Thomas has been instrumental in the Surf Life Saving industry since he was in the Nippers from 1990 onward.
Participating at events at the local, branch, state, national and international levels, Thomas found high levels of competition on the beach. Sprinting, flags and relay are his core events.
From Collaroy and Freshwater, in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, to Park Beach, Coffs Harbour Thomas has always volunteered with a passion throughout the lifesaving seasons as well as the off-season.
Thomas has instructed many through their Bronze Medallion, Inshore Rescue Boat crew person and driver training as well as Advanced Resuscitation Techniques
University & Hospitality
Thomas obtained a Bachelor of Business in Hotel and Resort Management from Southern Cross University in 2009.
Thomas volunteered as the Student Union Sports Coordinator in 2007 and the Student Union President in 2008-2009. Thomas worked within the Hospitality industry for just over 10 years.
Thomas worked in the Food and Beverage sector. Thomas has also, managed several venues such as The Coffs Hotel, The Buna Vista Hotel, Mosman and The Duke of Gloucester Hotel, Randwick.

Thomas has been actively helping his clients since he started at Fitness First Mosman Platinum in 2015.
From strength and conditioning, weight loss and postural rehabilitation, Thomas has guided many on their fitness journey with humble success. Thomas found his passion for training at a young age and tended to focus on studies in his later years.
Thomas' passion for health and fitness was rekindled through his personal trainer. During this time, he was educated to be a Master Trainer at the Australian Institute of Fitness, Saint Leonards, 2013.
Thomas moved to IFeelGood Express Health Club in Park Ridge in 2019 and is always willing to help those travelling through their fitness journey.
Thomas' specialities are Nutrition for Body Composition, Strength and Conditioning, Core Strength and Stability and Optimal Training Methods.
